I thought I would share a few mid production photos

Greetings for this New Year and may your miniature marvels be lucrative and grand this coming year .

Following on from the previous blog I thought I would share a few mid production photos so that the chimney stack makes sense when attached to a house. This is only half of the construction but to give an idea of size the depth is 26", height 31" and width 16". It is all wood construction with a plaster coat finish so far touch real wood I haven't needed to buy any bought parts. The concept is based on an ornament house we found in a charity shop, please excuse the dusty interior as I said it is work in progress. So I'll post a few more as it progresses .

  3. I love the design of this house! The little lean-to on the back is really sweet! And I like the chimney part stone and part brick! Houses over here are mostly wood, so we don't see chimneys like that!

  4. Looks like it will be a really charming house, the stonework looks so realistic and the interior shot could be renovations on a full-size house, minus the gap around the floor. Will love seeing how it progresses.

  5. It looks so nice already! And I agree with Margaret, the interior shot could be 1:1 scale.

  8. It's awesome in every detail. I'm interested in your how you are doing the plastered interior. I've been experimenting with some different things for plastered interior and exterior effects, just bought a tub of artist's Texture Gel with glass beads yesterday. Haven't tried it yet.

As for your 'once in a blue moon posts', maybe we could start a Blue Moon Bloggers club - you can be the President and I'll be the Secretary ;)
