Greetings for this New Year and may your miniature marvels be lucrative and grand this coming year .
Following on from the previous blog I thought I would share a few mid production photos so that the chimney stack makes sense when attached to a house. This is only half of the construction but to give an idea of size the depth is 26", height 31" and width 16". It is all wood construction with a plaster coat finish so far touch real wood I haven't needed to buy any bought parts. The concept is based on an ornament house we found in a charity shop, please excuse the dusty interior as I said it is work in progress. So I'll post a few more as it progresses .
It already is a beautiful building!Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Love the roof ornament.
ReplyDeleteI love the design of this house! The little lean-to on the back is really sweet! And I like the chimney part stone and part brick! Houses over here are mostly wood, so we don't see chimneys like that!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it will be a really charming house, the stonework looks so realistic and the interior shot could be renovations on a full-size house, minus the gap around the floor. Will love seeing how it progresses.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so nice already! And I agree with Margaret, the interior shot could be 1:1 scale.
ReplyDeleteEs una construcción preciosa igual que las otras que tienes en tu blog!!! Muy reales y muy bien trabajados los detalles. Te seguiré de cerca y me hago seguidora de tu blog. Saludos. Olga.

ReplyDeleteIt's awesome in every detail. I'm interested in your how you are doing the plastered interior. I've been experimenting with some different things for plastered interior and exterior effects, just bought a tub of artist's Texture Gel with glass beads yesterday. Haven't tried it yet.
ReplyDeleteAs for your 'once in a blue moon posts', maybe we could start a Blue Moon Bloggers club - you can be the President and I'll be the Secretary ;)
