Turning a new corner

Hi All Well sorry for neglecting my blog for so long but everytime I remember to get there something gets in the way and well off down another route. Anyway I am back maybe the last blog of 2012 and a new resolution for 2013 to be more persistent and rigorous in blogging !! Well to give you an idea of what I have been up to here is my latest model and as some of you that have been following me for a while well I think my techniques are improving. Well thank you for being stalwarts to the blog and hope you and your families have joyous greetings for the season and like me look forward to 2013 being more successful :)

Afternoon All and welcome to some new followers , some I know from other social networks , some personal and always welcome new people. Well what have I been up to quite a few commissions going but still managed to squeeze a new building in so here are the latest photos , only another few days of work to do. But when those few days can be fitted in I don't know .... so until then. Thank you all for wonderful comments when I need a boost I always come back to blogger to re-read comments then off again cheerful.

A New Witchy or Witchee Cottage .... well mystic cottage

Hi Guys .... Another house completed and sold for a lovely lady to do the finishing touches on ( the bits I don't do ....well ... struggle with the eye and concept ...hahaha ). So here are a few of the photos I was going to a bit more to it but got told 'No, don't touch anymore ' well who was I to argue ! So anyway it is a 1 and half floor construction in 1:12 scale with a few unique features i.e. the floor and windows , originally it started out as a quaint cottage and well did a turn.

Greetings after a long time away from blogspot ... some may have found me on Facebook but generally and very much guiltily I have neglected blogspot. So apologies and let me bring you up to speed on what I have been doing in the miniature scene, This is going to be a collage of photos on quite a few topics , some are updates and some are new .... well here we go ...

Start of a Large Project at last .....

 Hi All and Happy New Year and hope that you all had a restful and joyous Xmas. Well New year year new start on a new project. This one is going to be a biggeeee , so thought I would blog progress as it happens. Top left shows the first 3 modules the front entrance, left wing and central staircase. Top right is the central staircase in progress still deciding on a few aspects hence the oddity of the look so far. Centre left and right are the front entrance still be finished but the concept is there. Then below is the front of the right wing with features and texturing in evidence. The project timescale is to be finished by mid May so a lot more to do yet in between other projects and commisions. Will keep you posted .....Merry Miniing !!!

Current Little Project to Share

 Hey Guys .... yes off the cyber web again for a while a bit tied up with a few family matters so forgiveness is begged. Mind you I have managed some hours in the work shed and produced this 1:12 village school/hall/Chapel for a commision. Really enjoyed doing this as I did at one time attend a school like this ...many moon ago.

 Well it is not quite finished as I need to do a floor which I am thinking will be a parkee type floor or slotted boards. It is supposed to be a school but I have hopefully left it open to interpretation just in case. Staged as a Victorian school but as most of these schools are now tranformed into village halls now well its still essentially the same type of structure.
I will dedicate this one to my friends on blogspot that I seem to neglect ... but I will be in touch very soon .... I promize ( Monica :) )
